Merry Christmas to anyone reading this post right now.  Hard to beleive it's already Christmas Eve.  Soon it will be 2007.  It's important that we remember what this time of year is about.  I know, I know, many of you are probably tired of seeing and hearing the sometimes cliche` phrase "Remember the Reason for the Season".  Whether you're flipping through channels on the TV late at night, or you're driving down the road headed to work, you can't escape it. 

That might be the problem with this world...too many people are trying to escape it instead of understanding what it means.  Simply put, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to earth and allowed him to assume the form of a human.  Specifically, a child in his mother's womb.  His mother, Mary, gave birth to him in a manger in the city of Bethlehem.  Jesus grew up just like any normal child in those days, but he knew he was destined for so much more.  He live a sinless life, healed many, taught many, and was despised by many.  He was accused, crucified, and resurrected.  He lives today and acts as an intercessor between us and God. 

Those who confess him before men and believe that he is the Son of God will go to heaven and spend eternity there, those who don't, spend an eternity burning in a lake of fire with Satan.  Now, you're probably saying "That's pretty harsh" or your saying "Geez...why do you Christians beleive something so far-out as that?"  I can't explain God...no one can, but I can tell you this...It's in my bible, and I believe the bible is the infallible word of God.  Take it for what it is...The Truth.
